How come there isn't one of men? Jack Nicholson isn't looking as svelt as he did in his younger years. The women still look beautiful.

As designers we are probably more attuned to beauty than the average person and more able to see the beauty of all of life's stages. There is a certain light that shines brighter in older people, especially in those who have attained peace in their spirits, and as artists we are probably more attuned to it, just as we are more attuned to the colors of shadows. We see the beauty of aged wood, of ancient landscapes, and of wrinkled skin.
